What we know about Italy in 2027
Nothing is announced. The official tour page is empty and Ticketmaster.it shows no concerts. The band is writing its next album. Every album since 2006 got a world tour, and Italy was on each one.
Two more rumours. In April 2026 the Italian site OndaRock wrote that a new album would come out before the end of 2026, without naming a source; Sky TG24 traced the story to an interview Flea gave Zane Lowe. Drummer Chad Smith said in July that the band would only start writing together in September (Far Out). And the one 2027 date going around, a festival in Rosario in Argentina on 12 June, was denied by the band with "Sorry not us" (Noticias NQN).

Florence had been booked for 13 June 2020. The pandemic cancelled 2020 and 2021, and tickets stayed valid for 2022 (Sky TG24).

setlist.fm lists 28 Italian dates. Milan, Assago and Rho together account for 13 of them.

In Rome in 2017 the band played a song by Mina, according to the setlist.fm page of that night.
How the presale worked last time
For Milan 2023 the tour was announced on 5 December 2022. In Italy there was a presale for Tiscali customers together with Live Nation: request a code, then buy on Ticketmaster from 12 December at 11:00 until 14 December at 11:00, two tickets at most. The general sale opened on 14 December 2022 at 11:00 (MondoMobileWeb).
For Florence, tickets were on Ticketmaster, TicketOne and Vivaticket. In 2019, the year the date was first set, holders of an Intesa Sanpaolo card had a presale two days before the general sale.
Since 1 July 2019 tickets for concerts in venues with more than 5,000 places carry the buyer's name, and you show ID at the gate (Il Post). Changing the name on TicketOne costs €3.50 per ticket (Altroconsumo). If you buy for a friend, put their name on it.

Live in the meantime
Until the band comes back to Italy, you can hear the songs from a tribute band. We are one: De Peppers, a Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute band from the Netherlands. We are not the Red Hot Chili Peppers and we do not sell tickets for their concerts. On Saturday 12 December 2026 we play Soos Plock in Volkel, about half an hour from Eindhoven Airport.
