What is on the calendar
The tour page on the band's official site is empty. The Songkick listing shows one show: 17 October 2026 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. It is a benefit for the 25th anniversary of the Silverlake Conservatory of Music, the music school Flea co-founded in 2001. Dave Grohl plays that night too.
A European tour, a Dutch festival slot or any date in 2027: none of it has been announced.
What the band is doing now
Their last tour, the Unlimited Love Tour, ended on 30 July 2024 in the United States. Since then they have taken a break and worked on new material. Flea told Guitar World the band is writing new music together. There is no album title or release date yet.
In March 2026 Flea released his first solo album, Honora, a jazz record on which he also plays trumpet. He brought it to Paradiso in Amsterdam on 22 May 2026 and to North Sea Jazz in Rotterdam on 11 July 2026.
What are the chances for 2027?
Only the band knows, so we don't either. What we can say: for the past twenty years, every new album was followed by a world tour with at least one Dutch show. The Goffertpark in Nijmegen and Pinkpop were the usual places. Every show since 1988 is listed in every time the Red Hot Chili Peppers played the Netherlands.
What you can see live
Until the band comes back, you can hear the songs from a tribute band. We are one of them: De Peppers, four musicians from North Brabant who play nothing but the Red Hot Chili Peppers. On Saturday 12 December 2026 we play Soos Plock in Volkel, with Can't Stop, Californication, Under the Bridge and Give It Away on the setlist.
